Down to our Roots
36"x24"x26"
Wire mesh, Plastic Bottles, Live moss and flowers, dirt, red string, tiny humans
A sculptural piece assembled from discarded materials found in my garage and organic elements gathered from my garden. This work challenges our delusion of being kind to our environment and reducing plastic consumption, revealing how human-made waste has become entangled with the nature we inhabit. It questions the boundary between the world we romanticize and the consumer culture embedded within it.
